Only real thing I’d suggest is for the word counts to be listed as a whole number follow by abbreviated in parentheses. Like this: “107654 (107K)” that way the sort will actually sort them by the real value. Or it might just need the whole number if it’s automatically sorting by string since the ‘K’ or ‘M’ character is present. Maybe 2 separate columns? One for readability and one for sorting? Would have to mess with it a bit to find the best option, but regardless, sorting by length doesn’t accomplish much at the moment. The end-user can do anything they want with it (make a local copy, sort it arbitrarily, etc), and you can just post the recent parts of it on reddit while leaving the older stuff there for people to view in a convenient place rather than having to hunt down miscellaneous posts across reddit.

Use something like to easily convert a spreadsheet into a reddit-format table. Plus you can restrict it so only trusted people in the community have editing rights, allowing you to crowdsource the effort a bit without having to worry about random people ruining everything.Distressed Funny Christmas Santa Claw Crab 2020 grunge T-Shirt If you’re willing to put in more effort than I am, you could probably even get it to automatically determine when the last update was for some fics. SB/SV almost certainly wouldn’t work because XenForo is an absolute mess, but Ao3 and FFn have consistent ways of displaying things like last update and wordcount, so it would probably be fairly easy to automatically pull from them with something like IMPORTXML. How do you view updates/chapter word count on AO3 and FFn?

I have SB/SV working but have been holding off on the latest updated feature because I don’t see where these two elements are displayed. Ah sorry, I was just referring to the overall wordcount; I don’t think either site shows a per-chapter word count. The date of the last update is next to the title of the fic on both sites. How are you planning on handling the automated retrieval of SB/SV information with a spreadsheet? I can’t think off the top of my head how you’d do it without just writing a program in Python or something to do it. Distressed Funny Christmas Santa Claw Crab 2020 grunge T-Shirt When I was doing these, I actually fetched the story content from all of the sites and counted the words. (I actually wrote a module to do the word counting, as I got weirdly pedantic about it when I started counting the words in my own stories:
